A quiet early morning walk through mist and fog in the small village of Abingdon and along the Thames River path. Abingdon is a nice little town, or perhaps it's a village, on the River Thames in the Vale of the White Horse district of Oxfordshire, England. I spent a few relaxing days here, and as I was adjusting to the jet lag I heard some beautiful birdsong in the early morning pre-dawn hours. This morning I decided to get up and walk with the birds, through the quiet streets of the town, and down to the water's edge. Just upriver is Abingdon Lock, one of many along the river between Oxford and London. The long boats moored at the lock reminded me that there are many different paths one can take, something to explore to be sure. I hope you enjoy this tranquil morning walk through classic British fog and mist on the Thames.
