Following her acclaimed DG debut album Beethoven and Beyond, the Spanish violinist @mariaduenasviolin explores the Caprice. Besides Paganini's famous 24 Caprices, she also explores Caprices by other composers including, as in this piece, Saint-Saëns for which she teamed up with the Deutsches Symphonie-Orchester Berlin and conductor Mihhail Gerts. Further composers range from Berlioz and Kreisler to Sarasate, Wieniawski, as well as Jordi Cervelló and Gabriela Ortiz.
