A quiet early morning walk through the historic streets below Tatsuno Castle with rain and cherry blossoms in full bloom. I had planned on sleeping in this morning, but perhaps knowing this might be a good day for sakura I woke up around 3am and decided I would drive to Tatsuno, having never been there before. I'm glad I did. I walked the empty streets with traditional wooden houses, waiting for a bit more light before heading up to the castle. The carpet of petals with blossoms still in the trees was an amazing sight, especially with the sound of the rain and the tranquil castle grounds.
